  • Dear Parents, Guardians, and Families –

This is the final week of planned instruction in the Mountain View School District.  While there will be no new assignments this week, any student who has not completed his or her assignments from previous weeks is encouraged to do so.

Students in grades 7-11 may report to the high school this week to return all materials, including textbooks, library books, calculators, etc. Students may also pick up summer reading texts and AP assignments.  Students may also return any packet work during this time. Please remember that all students should please keep their Chromebooks until school resumes in the fall.  The schedule for this week is as follows:

    Tuesday, June 2:
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Students with last names A-C
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Students with last names D-F
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Students with last names G-K
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Students with last names L-McLaud

    Wednesday, June 3:
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Students with last names Mellor - Rinaldi
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Students with last names Rindock - Slater
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Students with last names Smith - Zrowka

Any student or family that cannot attend at their assigned time is asked to please contact the high school main office to arrange for an alternate time.  Thank you.

Please keep the members of the class of 2020 in your thoughts as they graduate on Saturday of this week.  In spite of the many challenges presented to the senior class, they have remained positive, optimistic, and resilient and have set an outstanding example for the underclassmen.

Once again, I would like to thank our parents, families, students, teachers, counselors, and administrative staff for all of their hard work this year, particularly during the last ten weeks of the school year.  I know that it was a challenging year for all.  I am very grateful to work in a community that stresses the significance of educating our students.

I hope that you and your families have a restful and relaxing summer.
