Dear Parents/Guardians,

Between Monday, January 17 and Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the Mountain View School District became aware of (23) positive COVID-19 cases.  Four (4) student cases were at the elementary school and sixteen (16) student cases were at the high school.  Additionally, three (3) faculty/staff members were positive between both buildings.  Contact tracing was completed and the families of the students that were identified as close contacts were contacted.

After consulting directly with the Department of Health, the Mountain View School District will transition to virtual instruction starting on Thursday, January 20th.  All students will return to in-person on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.  Additional building level information will be sent from your child’s principal.
