MVSD Health Statement 3/25/2021
March 25, 2021
Dear Parents/Guardians,
In exciting anticipation for our students returning to school on Monday, March 29, 2021, our administration, faculty and support staff have been making final safety preparations to ensure that our classrooms and hallways are as safe as possible. Our classrooms, hallways, and lunch rooms are fully stocked with cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer. All safety and cleaning protocols will remain strictly enforced. We will all work together as a school community during the school day to wear our masks properly and remind each other of the best ways to keep each other safe. Face masks/covering are still required in our school buildings.
With continuing our collaborative efforts in keeping all students safe, please continue to check in with your children on how they feel before they attend school in the morning. If they are experiencing any signs and/or symptoms, please consult with your child’s school nurse before sending your child to school. Additionally, if you have any health questions related to the changing state guidelines, please reach out to our school nurses.
We are extremely grateful for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to a great rest of the school year. We are very excited to see our students and provide them with the best educational experience upon their return.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (570) 434-2180 or at melia@mvsd.net.
Sincerely,
Dr. Michael S. Elia
Superintendent of Schools
