COVID-19 Statement- February 12, 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued cooperation and partnership in handling the safety and security of our students as we continue to navigate through this pandemic.  
 
The Mountain View School District became aware today of a positive case of COVID-19 at the high school.  A full and thorough investigation was conducted which included in-depth contact tracing. Due to this positive case, 19 high school students and 2 coaches were quarantined including the cheerleading team.  All families and staff members were contacted and informed of the next steps.  The Department of Health was contacted and consulted with to ensure that all safety procedures and protocols were implemented.
