Mountain View Superintendent Charges Dropped Criminal charges lodged against the Mountain View School District Superintendent, Andrew Chichura, D.Ed., were withdrawn by Susquehanna County District Attorney Jason Legg. The school district administration has been absolved of charges of improprieties in connection with failure to report a case of suspected child abuse. The students’ welfare and safety have always been and will continue to be a priority. Unfortunately the charges have cast the entire school district in a negative light. As we move forward, the school community can be assured that the board of education, the administration, the faculty, and the support staff have and will continue to support the goal of the school district’s Mission Statement. This goal is: “Our school and community culture will reflect a high level of respect and responsibility that will be demonstrated daily in the actions of students and adults.”
