On Saturday June 13th, Mountain View celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2009. This was a historic class, as it was the 50th graduating class, and the first to hold graduation outside in the Klenk Athletic Complex. Our best wishes to our graduates and their families, and thank you to all the people who made this historic event happen.
On Wednesday(12/10/08), Mountain View Students in grades 7 -12 had a special assembly on the current issues of internet safety, social networking, and cell phone use. Mr. Doster and Mr. Yost presented a presentation from Netsmartz on current concerns with keeping our students safe on the internet. Mr. Jason Legg, the Susquehanna County District Attorney also presented to the students the legal ramifications associated with inappropriate cell phone use.
